Moose FM CFBG 99.5 - Muskoka

A warning from police for boaters heading out into Southern Georgian Bay this long weekend. A dead horse was spotted floating in the water yesterday about a mile north of Lighthouse Point Road and a half mile west of the shore in Nottawasaga Bay. Due to rough water conditions, marine units were unable to head out immediately to search for the animal’s body. Police say until further notice, boaters should exercise caution and keep a look out for the potential hazard as they navigate in and around the area.
