Gravenhurst has a new CAO. Today it was learned Council has appointed Charles (David) Weldon to the position. Weldon's 35+ years of leadership experience in Ontario Municipalities includes 25 years as CAO in Richmond Hill, Chatham-Kent and Innisfil. Mayor Paisley Donaldson says he became very familiar with Gravenhurst during the recent 9 month period he was the interim CAO there, and that the Town is very fortunate to have him return full-time. He replaces Frank Miele, who's departure was announced recently.
