Want to have your say about protecting Muskoka's environment? You have a perfect chance starting in early October via five public workshops being held by the Muskoka Watershed Council. The workshops will be held in Vankoughnet, Lake of Bays, Raymond, Severn Bridge and Glen Orchard. The council wants to start a conversation about how to protect Muskoka's biodiversity now and into the future, exploring ways individuals and governments can learn to live sustainably. Watershed Council Director of Watershed Programs Judi Brouse explains.
The plan is to create a report on the workshop findings after they wrap up. Also, future workshops could happen in Muskoka's three towns - Gravenhurst, Huntsville and Bracebridge in the future.
