The Township of Lake of Bays has its first candidate for Mayor. Dan Waters has filed his papers for the 2010 Municipal election. Waters was the M.P.P. for Muskoka-Georgian Bay from 1990 to 1995 and currently runs a business in Lake of Bays. He says he has been asked by several residents to run for Mayor and will make decisions that best reflect the needs of the community.
