There’s added incentive to run in this year’s municipal election in Huntsville. At there last regular meeting Councilors agreed on an increase in remuneration. Starting next term, Councilors will get $16,500 – that’s a raise of $1,500. The Mayor’s position will pull in $30,400 compared to the current pay of $30,000.
