West Nipissing Drug Bust Arrests 27 People

A seven-month long undercover investigation in West Nipissing has resulted in 27 people being charged. Twenty-two of those arrested are from Sturgeon Falls and now face 108 charges that include trafficking, possessions of a controlled substance, and possession of property obtained by crime. Those charged range in age from 19 to 55 years old. Methamphetamine, cocaine, marihuana, oxycodone, cannibis resin and psilocybin were seized along with $6000 dollars in cash and a pickup. The street value of the drugs is $75,000. OPP Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau, the North Bay Drug Unit and West Nipissing Police made the sweeping arrests early morning Thursday, June 14th.
