A rural politician from Southern Ontario is weighing in on the decision to shutdown the ranger program in rural and Northern Ontario.  Tory MPP Toby Barrett, who represents Haldimand-Norfolk, says 17-year-old used the summer program to gain job experience.  Barrett says it’s over-spending in so many other areas by the McGuinty Liberals that’s resulting in the end of programs like the rangers.
