North Bay council is worried that a kiosk in the land registry office could delay future construction work. Councillor Dave Mendicino says it used to take a week to register land work, now the paperwork is taking up to four months. Mendicino and council want the province to re-think replacing workers with the kiosk. He says if developers still face a long turn-around next spring, they could actually lose their entire construction season.
