Local community and recreations facilities are being encouraged to apply for new federal funding. MP Jay Aspin says the Community Infrastructure Improvement Fund is providing funds for repairs and upgrades at facilities. Across the country $150 million will be available over the next two years, and nearly $50 million of that will be for Ontario projects. Aspin says FedDev is administering the program.
