A new resident at Canadore College this fall is already getting an A+ on cuteness. The college will be one of the first in Canada to welcome a mental health and wellness dog. The German Sheppard puppy will live in residence under the care of the residence life coordinator and go through intensive training as a service dog. It’s been shown therapy animals in schools reduce stress and anxiety and help communication. And the pup needs a name so hit up the website canadorecollege.ca/namethepuppy and submit your suggestion.
