An update on community fire restrictions as more communities have eased fire bans to allow for campfires. Most are allowing small fires only for cooking and warmth except Restoule including Patterson and Pringle Township which still have a complete ban in place. For Burk's Falls, Armour and Ryerson, Kearney, McMurrich-Monteith, and Perry Township campfires are allowed for cooking and warmth, and open air burning is allowed starting at 6:00pm through to 10:00am the next morning. Check with your local municipality for more information on fire bans and burning permits.
