The federal government is supporting Laurentian University's drive to create a school of architect in Sudbury. Laurentian is getting $5 million from FedNor to build a 65,000 square foot facility. The state-of-the-art school will include lecture and exhibition halls as well as specialty spaces like workshops and labs. This is the first school of architecture to be built in Ontario in more than 40 years.
