Meantime, the school board has started the review process for the schools Dr. MacDougall, J.W.Trusler and King George. Because of lower enrolment, the board's recommendation is to close all three and build a new school at the old Pinewood School site. In the Nugget, Facilitator Paul Addie said at the meeting on October 24th that some of the older schools don't meet standards, and it would cost more to repair them than they're worth. The next meeting will be November 28th.
