PRESS RELEASE

The 11 and under CT-33 Thunderbirds swim team competed at the OMNI Top Fish meet in Sudbury this past weekend.  Trael Daly Stevens (9) topped the club with four first place finishes while Kylie Manning (9) earned two first and three second place awards.

Swimmers excelling at the meet and capturing top three placements were Adam Angelo, Cauri Ash, Jasmine Busschaert, Jane Chirico, Leah Chirico, Samuel Denomme, William Hotson, Olivia Ladouceur, Katelyn Macintosh, Rachelle Ouellette, Olivia Trottier.

Top five placements were earned by Sergio Jeffrey, Olivia Lyle, Sara Manning, and Jayden Wilson.

This was the first swim meet for many of the new and upcoming rookie team swimmers coached by Vendella Edmond, Teagan Preston, and Jane Ferguson.  The meet provided an encouraging environment for new and young swimmers with random bell ringer prizes for the swimmers.  Fellow T-Bird and Top Fish alumni swimmers Jenna Manning and Michael Denomme helped the younger swimmers on the pool deck with marshalling and coaching.

On deck coaches Penny Lecour and Amy Jackson were pleased with the results from the meet and the success and growth of all swimmers.
