Timmins Fire_9_upd_map

Fire rangers from British Colombia are returning home today after lending a hand in this year’s largest fire in Ontario, Timmins 9. MNR believe there are sufficient Ontario resources capable of handling the now “being held” blaze, which is just over 39,500ha. Hotspots are being identified and snuffed with suppression efforts working excellently. There has been no growth in Timmins 9 and surplus equipment is being withdrawn.
