The Public Works Department wishes to advise residents that the traffic signals at the corner of Third Avenue and Cedar Street are not in operation. A faulty transformer located in an existing electrical vault will need to be replaced in order to re-activate the lights. The department has temporarily installed stops signs at the intersection. We ask the public to approach this intersection as a 4-way stop and proceed accordingly. We are presently working with Hydro One in order to address this matter as quickly as possible. It is expected to be resolved by next Monday. Public Works thanks you for your cooperation.
