We’ll know in one week, whether Aleisha Block will get bail or not. Her defense attorney called for a remand to Superior Court on September 14th for a bail hearing. The reason for the adjournment is to gather some evidence and files from the Crown to facilitate the proper application for bail. Justice of the Peace Sylvie Bourbonnais agreed to the date and remanded the 24-year-old blond to custody at Monteith Correctional Centre. Block is facing a charge of second degree murder for the fatal stabbing of her boyfriend 27-year-old Chris Deighton.
