Aleisha Block

**update**
A publication ban is now in place in the case against 24-year-old Aleisha Block. Block appeared in Superior Court this morning for a bail hearing. A publication ban prevents any evidence revealed in court from appearing in any publication or broadcast by any means. Block, dressed in a grey sweater, black pants and a lace top sits quietly, sobbing every now and again as the case moves along. Both Block's and Deighton's family are in court. Block is implicated in the death of her partner 27-year-old Christopher Deighton. The bail hearing isn't likely to finish today and could be continued next week as early as Monday. Block is in court facing a charge of second degree murder.

The woman implicated in the fatal stabbing death of 27-year-old Christopher Deighton is back in court this morning. Aleisha Block will be physically in court for a bail application in Superior Court facing a charge of second degree murder. Block was arrested following the stabbing of Deighton on August 18th at their residence on Birch Street South.
