Avoid trouble; don’t poach. It’s a warning from Crime Stoppers and the Ministry of Natural Resources for all residents. In a media release Wednesday, the two organizations warn that abusing our natural resources is a threat to our way of life. So the next time you see a crime like over-limit fishing, small game or waterfowl, fishing or hunting out of season, littering on public lands or illegally removing firewood or trees from public lands, report it. There are cash rewards available for any information leading to the arrest of these people.
