Moose FM CHMT 93.1 - Timmins

We have some freezing rain to deal with this morning. Environment Canada has issued a freezing rain warning across Timmins, Cochrane and Iroquois Falls. EnCan warns our area will get a few bands of mixed precipitation, including snow and ice pellets. Forecasts show the freezing rain should end later this morning, but there’s a risk freezing drizzle may persist throughout the day and night. Motorists are asked to be very careful on the roads as they may be slippery in some places.
