More trouble for Aleisha Block. Crown Attorney Rob Parsons has confirmed that second-degree murder accused Aleisha Block has violated one of the conditions of her bail, failing to submit a sample to a breath test. Parsons confirmed that under the condition, police are supposed to randomly show up to her door and request she do a test for alcohol or drugs. The law states that no one can change the conditions of bail unless done so in court. As a result, the 24-year-old is being returned to Monteith Correctional Centre to await a preliminary hearing Monday morning in Timmins Superior Court. Parsons says the Crown will be asking for a revocation of the previous bail conditions and setting new ones, if Block chooses to apply for bail again. One of Block’s sureties, her mother, is the one who reported the violation to the crown. Block has been charged in the death of her partner/fiancé 27-year-old Christopher Deighton.
