The OPP say their criminal probe into last month’s collapse of the Algo Centre Mall will supercede all other investigations.  The case turned criminal after the OPP found enough information while helping the coroner’s office looking into the deaths of two women who died in the collapse.  And OPP spokesman Sargeant Pierre Chamberland says the OPP won’t rush because they want to get it right.  The police also want to hear what anyone knew about the Algo Centre Mall.  For years Elliot Lake residents have complained about the leaky condition at the mall.   Police ask anyone to call them at 1-855-677-4636 if they have information that can help with the case.
