The MPP for Algoma Manitoulin says there are lessons to be learned from last month’s Algo Centre Mall collapse in Elliot Lake.  Mike Mantha was reacting to news that the Attorney General has announced a public inquiry into mall roof-top cave-in that killed two women.  The inquiry will be independent and led by Justice Paul Belanger who is well regarded in the judicial field.  Mantha hopes Belanger asks tough questions including whether the collapse could have been prevented.  No date for the inquiry has been set which could take up to a year to complete.
