West Nipissing is a pretty safe area according to Stats Canada.  The federal agency looked at 239 communities across the country and only 39 of them had lower crime rates than West Nipissing’s.  While non violent crime was up last year compared to the year before, the number of violent cases was down.  The analysis looked at communities with more than 10-thousand people.
