Little Current is keeping its Water Street post office. A group effort of the Business Improvement Area, municipal and federal politicians helped negotiations with Canada Post to keep the outlet. On top of that, with the new agreement the Municipality of Northeastern Manitoulin and the Islands receive a more beneficial lease agreement with Canada Post.
