More detailed figures from the Algoma District School Board show that  most of its schools saw increased enrolment.  Across the system from JK to Grade 8, the school board says 215 more students than expected enrolled.  More than half the increase is the result of extra students entering junior and senior kindergarten.   At the high school level 189 more students than expected signed up at Algoma board schools.
