Local residents will get to say their final goodbyes to Lincoln Alexander.  Canada’s first black MP will lay in state at Hamilton city hall beginning today until his state funeral in the city on Friday.  Prime Minister Harper was one of those who paid his respects to the former Ontario lieutenant governor while he lay in state at Queen’s Park.  Books of condolences will be available at Hamilton City Hall, the Ontario Legislature and online.  Alexander died last week at the age of 90.
