Above average rainfall over the past two months has brought relief to the Grand-River watershed after record breaking dry conditions. Rainfall totals for October nearly doubled monthly averages, replenishing streams and bringing the Grand River Conservation Authority’s major reservoirs back within normal operating ranges. While the increased rainfall has helped systems recover, water users are still encouraged to practice conservation measures whenever possible. Information on how to do so can be found at Grandriver.Ca.
