Norfolk General Hospital has declared the outbreak of C. Difficile to be over. Six cases were identified during the outbreak, which started october 1^st. The outbreak required the hospital to isolate and control visitation in affected areas. Additional measures included enhanced surveillance, increased cleaning and the use of strengthened disinfectant in the rooms of all patients diagnosed with the disease.
