Hot and humid temperatures continue to sweep the local area. The Medical Officer of Health for the city of Hamilton has issued a stage two Heat Warning. A Heat Warning is called when the expected humidex reading is at or above 40 degrees for two days in a row. If the humid weather continues into a fourth day, a stage 3 Heat Alert will be called. Environment Canada says a cold front is expected to move into the area by Friday.
