Suspicious Man Offers Candy to Young Boy in Brantford

Hits

Brantford police are warning residents of a suspicious man who targeted a young boy walking home from school.  Police say a 13-year-old boy was walking home in the area of Stanley and Elgin Streets last Wednesday, when a man in a large white cargo van stopped and asked if he wanted some candy.  There were no threats made, but the man got angry when the boy ignored his many offers.  Police describe the man as white, in his early 40s with black spiky hair, blue eyes and clean shaven.  Parents are asked to have their children walk in groups in well-travelled areas.
