Moose FM CKLP 103.3 - Parry Sound

Parry Sound and area is now among most of the rest of Northeastern Ontario and under a fire ban.  Because of the recent warm, dry weather, the West Parry Sound Fire District, including Magnetawan, declared the fire danger rating "Extreme".  An extreme rating means NO OPEN BURNING and camp fires are not allowed, except for those in organized commercial campgrounds or Provincial Parks.  In addition, the Municipality of Whitestone has enacted a complete fire ban, meaning ALL open air burning is prohibited.
