Grade 4 to 8 students from Humphrey School have done their part to clean up shores in Seguin Township. This week marks Canada's Shoreline Cleanup, the largest direct-action conservation program in Canada. Yesterday morning the students were sent to Foley Matheson beach, Rosseau Waterfront Park, and Maple Key beach in Orrville pick up shoreline litter. Seguin Mayor David Conn says the township is certainly pleased with the participation of their young people in this initiative and look forward in working together implementing more green practices to keep our lakes clean.
