Grade seven and eight students from three area elementary schools won't be going to high school next year.  Last night, the Near North District School Board voted in favour of postponing the integration until September 2014 to allow for an Accommodation Review process to be completed.  Trustee Jim Beatty says parents are encouraged to fully participate in the ARC process so all the options can be explored.

Beatty believes it was the voice of concerned parents that caused the board to take a step back and he thanks all of them for their support in getting a proper review into this decision.
