Now that Halloween is over, the Salvation Army is turning their focus to Christmas.  Registration for this year's Christmas Assistance program begins next week where eligible families may receive toys for children 16 years of age and younger and a grocery store voucher for holiday food.  Registration will begin on November 5 at The Salvation Army's 61 Gibson Street location and is by appointment only.  To make a donation to assist The Salvation Army serve vulnerable families this holiday season, you may donate new, unused toys, choose to adopt a family, make a monetary donation, or provide the gift of volunteering your time.
