Huntsville Otters Still Live as a Junior C Team

Hits

It looks like Huntsville will still get a junior hockey team after all.  An interim group made up of community members, local politicians and minor hockey has been pushing for a Junior C hockey team. After it was announced that Huntsville wouldn't have the Junior A Otters anymore, Interm Chair Andy Cooke told Moose FM that they had a meeting in Alliston yesterday to discuss the details with the OHA and the Georgian Bay Mid-Ontario League.

Cooke says the new team will play teams from Alliston, Midland, and Caledon.  Meantime, Junior A's co-owner Jason Armstrong said this new team is a better solution for the community and they're putting all their support to make the Junior C Otters a success.
