Teens Charged in Alleged Rock Throwing Incident in Elliot Lake

Two teenagers are facing a number of charges after a rock throwing incident in Elliot Lake.  On June 26th, police were called to Westview Crescent about a complaint.  Police Investigation revealed that the person who called police, and friends, were sitting outside and noticed several teenagers walked by their back yard when suddenly a rock came flying towards them.  Police conducted a search of the area and located the teens at a beach.  As a result, a 16-year-old male has been charged with Mischief, and Assaulting Police; and a 17-year-old male is being charged with Mischief, and Failure to comply. Both teens are also facing alcohol related charges.
