Hits

The forest fire hazard throughout the entire East Fire Region is currently low due to the recent wet weather.  The MNR says one new fire has been reported in the East Fire Region within the last day. The fire was reported in Sault Ste. Marie district at 0.1 hectares large -- about the size of 12 badminton courts -- and has already been called out. Currently there are 10 active fires in the East Fire Region, all of which are in the far north.
