The Elliot Lake Chamber of Commerce is delivering some good news. In an email to members today they have announced that the East Algoma Community Futures Development Corporation has announced that businesses directly affected by the roof collapse at the Algo Centre Mall will be offered a 2 year interest free loan of up to $25,000.00. Foodland, which was a cornerstone of the Algo Centre Mall, has announced that they plan to stay in Elliot Lake. Although there are no definite plans in place yet they are working on an interim and long term plan.
