Moose FM CKNR 94.1 - Elliot Lake

Mike Mantha MPP for Algoma-Manitoulin is calling for a public inquiry that would look at both the events leading to the collapse and what happened after.  Mantha made the announcement on Thursday.   Mantha says the families of the victims have unanswered questions along with the community.  
He says an inquiry will get those answers and give closure to the families. 
An independent public inquiry can only be established by order of the Premier under Ontario's Public Inquiries Act.
