Moose FM CKNR 94.1 - Elliot Lake

The way has been cleared for Foodland in Elliot Lake to operate from the Collins Hall while waiting for a new home.  The Minister of Municipal Affairs has issued a special zoning order that allows a grocery store to sell food from the Collins Hall.  Foodland can stay at the facility for up to three years.  It’s expected to open for business by mid October after taking possession in late August.  Foodland was one of several businesses displaced when part of the roof came down at the Algo Centre Mall forcing the complete closure of the mall.
