Development for a large shopping plaza in Elliot lake is starting. William Elliott of ELNOS says commercial developers are interested in Elliot lake as long as there is land ready to build on. ELNOS is sourcing out funding for the 3.5 million dollar project. The 6.2 acre area between Canadian Tire and downtown is expected to be ready in six to eight months from today. The land will be sold to the future developer. ELNOS is managing the downtown development project and council gave the go ahead at Tuesday's meeting to prepare the land for developers.
