A computer scam in Northern Ontario could cost you a lot of money if you fall for it.  Con artists claiming to be from Microsoft tell homeowners they have to let them clean their computer because it’s infected with a virus.  If you refuse, they say they’ll take away your computer.  If you believe their line, they next ask you to pay with a credit card and ask for your credit card number.  But don’t give them your number because the scammers don’t represent Microsoft and your computer doesn’t have a virus.
