A Northern Ontario New Democrat claims the Harper Tories are jeopardizing safety on the Great Lakes.   Carol Hughes, of Algoma Manitoulin Kapuskasing, says they’re doing that by closing a marine monitoring station in Thunder Bay.  Hughes says once the station closes, the only another station will be in Sarnia.  The MP says with only one station to handle hundreds of extra calls creates a dangerous situation especially in the summer when the lakes are busier
